When I was a kid, my family didn’t have access to travel.
Instead, I used to flick through the National Geographic Magazine and imagine going inside one of Egypt’s pyramids or floating on a boat in Halong Bay, Vietnam.
My love for travel only grew as I got older. So I’d scrape together enough money to book the cheapest flights I could find.
I call it travel by any means necessary. It didn’t matter if it was a 40-hour economy flight with the worst itinerary, or an overnight bus (so I could save on hotel costs).
When I became a physician, my circumstances and finances changed.
My income increased, yes – but so did my expenses (especially as a physician with two kids and several hundred thousands of dollars in student loan debt).
I learned how to leverage these high yearly expenses and turn them into credit card points.
Not only did points change my relationship with travel. They changed my entire life.

Devon is real, approachable, and knowledgeable. Travel is my favorite hobby but it’s going to be even more fun now that I know how to play with points!
In 2016, I took my first-ever trip using points to travel to a medical conference in Paris.
This Chicago to Paris trip was the first time I’d ever flown business or first class, and using points meant I paid around $80 out of pocket for a $14,000 flight.
Flying first-class Lufthansa, enjoying a four-course meal, stretching my legs out in front of me? That changed me.
That was the day I decided I would never fly economy for international flights again.
I want this for you too.
You should know:
✈️ Two weeks in Florida with my family
✈️ A weekend getaway with my husband in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. (Street tacos and warm weather for the win!)
✈️ A solo excursion to Tokyo for a DAY. (I paid $100 out of pocket, when it would’ve cost over $20,000 to book in cash.)
✈️ A week in Hawaii with my husband and kids in an ocean-front suite at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. (I paid $0 for a suite that’s supposed to cost about $17,000 for a week’s stay!).
“As someone who loves to travel, I thought that business class seats were for fancy people and totally out of my comfort zone until I learned how to navigate using points to book flights via airline partner transfer.
The old version of me would be excited to hear just how many flights I’ve booked with points in such a short time.”

First class is MY goal, but it doesn’t have to be yours.
I’m here to help you expand your travel, and expand your experiences in whatever way you want that expansion to look.
It’s okay if –
Business class flights don’t top your travel wishlist
You’re not interested in paying for a different class of service if it means you get to travel more often
You want to keep traveling economy so you can spend your points on luxury hotel stays instead
You want to pull out all the stops and fly first class every time you travel
You just want access to the airport VIP lounges
